Chart 6 In Chart 6, the company's practice line is aligned with the market median. The outer, more heavily drawn lines show the +/-20% range about the practice line. These lines represent the salary range boundaries. For example, as shown in Chart 6, the midpoint salary for a 600 point job is about $100,000. The corresponding salary range (+/-20% of $100,000) is $80,000 to $120,000.
The market first and third quartile lines are also displayed for comparison. These are the more lightly drawn lines falling within the policy salary range boundary lines.
