A purely on-line Survey of considerable substance and integrity.
The NRC conducts both job-evaluated and position description match surveys - all on-line. Survey participants that take part on a job evaluated basis use our universal JobscoreŽ system for evaluation. Depending on the survey, Survey Reports give results on either a purely job-evaluated basis, or as a combination of both job-evaluation and position description matched. Reports provided a detailed analysis is of the salary package components for each job-evaluated grade and each job title surveyed. Salary movements and forecasts, including for CPI, are shown. Survey results are published six-monthly to ensure that substantially current information is provided.
The survey is conducted on-line: both data collection and delivery of the survey results.
Management of the survey as a purely on-line resource presents several advantages:

Data Collection.
  • Data collection is made easier through pre-formatted, fully documented, data entry screens to assist the operator and help ensure the quality of input data.

  • Data can be entered at any time to suit participants; from any location where internet access is available. Data entry can proceed in a stop-start way if needed because all earlier work remains available on-line through to completion. This takes the pressure off busy times and allows the activity to be slotted in when and where convenient.

  • Data remains present in the on-line system, and if there are no changes to earlier data then no action is required for submission of data; only those jobs that require change or deletion need be dealt with. This takes away the need for repeated entry of unchanged data from one survey to the next.

  •

    Survey Reports.
  • Survey results are available '24/7' from any internet facility. There are no delays in getting the results out due to the production and distribution, etc of printed documents. On-line is also the more eco-friendly approach.

  • Survey results include charts and tables that can be 'cut and pasted' into internal Council reports, memos, e-mails, and other documents and presentations. This takes away the need to re-write or re-type information - another big saving. And again, being on-line, access to the survey results can be from any location where internet access is available, thereby allowing complete flexibility in scheduling the time and place for the activity. Further, as permitted by the participant, any number of authorised company officers can access the on-line results separately and simultaneously.

  •

    Contributor Report.
  • An additional, customised, 'Contributor Report' is provided. This Report gives a detailed comparison of the salary packages for jobs in your organisation for which you have provided data. These comparisons are shown with comparable jobs in the survey. This provides a particularly useful and efficient way to check salary packages levels for your employees.

  • For those taking part on a job-evaluated basis, charts are displayed showing your organisation's salary practice position relative to the market, together with a compa-ratio analysis. For industry-specific survey participants, job-evaluated comparisons with our all-industries data is an option that can be taken.

  • And like data entry, and access to the complete survey report, access to the Contributor Report is totally flexible in time and place from any internet connection.

  •

    JobscoreŽ
  • Participation in our job-evaluated surveys includes access to our on-line job evaluation system JobscoreŽ and training in its use and application.

  • All our job evaluated surveys are linked into JobscoreŽ so that once the job evaluation conducted the relevant market salary is immediately obtained.

    • Access template evaluations to use as starting points for further evaluations.
    • Share evaluations with others via the internet.
