The survey is produced in May and November each year and covers over 150 roles ranging from lower level adminstrative and manual positions, through to Chief Executive Officer (see positions surveyed). All positions surveyed are matched to generic job descriptions.

Delivery of the survey's results are entirely on-line. They include a detailed analysis of all salary package components for the positions covered as well as salary and CPI movements and forecasts, and other pertinent commentary.

The cost of access to the resuls of a single issue of the survey is A$525, plus GST if purchased from within Australia.

For organisations that contribute data towards the survey an annual subscription, covering two issues in the year, is $1,100 plus GST. Data contributing participants receive an additional customised, Contributor Report following each update of the survey. This Report provides an analysis for each job for which the participant contributes data. The analysis gives a comparison of the salary package for each incumbent with that of similar jobs in the survey. The analysis is in the form of a Remuneration Table. A subsidiary comparison is also provided with respect to similar jobs in similar sized organisations, and with those in the same State.
