Accessing Information by Password

Job Price Welcome   Job Price general information

The salary information contained in Job Price is accessed via the internet using a User Name and Password. A User Name and Password is provided when the information is purchased. User Name and Password provides access to the purchased information for six months. During this time the information can be accessed and printed out as often as needed.

Step 1. Log in to the Secure Access area of the NRC website (http://www.natrem.com.au/secure).

Step 2. Enter your User Name and Password to display the Secure Access Main Menu.

Step 3. Select the set of jobs that includes the one/s accessible by your Password.

Step 4. List the jobs you have access to.

Step 5. Display the salary information for jobs in the list. If required also print out the information.

Detailed description.

On logging in the Secure Access front page is displayed (grey coloured screen). In the centre of this page is a button labeled Enter Security. Click on this button to display the Secure Access Log In screen (black screen). Enter the User Name and Password provided to you by the NRC and click the Log In button on this screen. [Enter your User Name and Password exactly as provided to you, using upper case and lower case as specified.]

On logging in successfully the Secure Access Main Menu is displayed (pastile coloured screen). This menu contains two entries: User Management, and Job Price. User Management contains details of your licence to access the data (including its expiry date),and also allows you to change your password.

The Job Price entry on the Main Menu leads to the salary data information. Click on this entry to display the Job Price Main Menu.

The Job Price Main menu has four entries:
  Select Survey
  List Jobs
  Trends
  Secure Access Main Menu

These entries are now described in turn.

Select Survey
Job Price has the ability to display job data for several surveys. It is necessary to specify which survey one wishes to view data from, usually it is the most recent. Click Select Survey to display the list of surveys your licence (as specified by your User Name and Password) allows you to view.

From the list of surveys displayed (there may only be one in the list), select the one of interest. (Detailed instructions of all these steps are given on the relevant screens.) Return to the Job Price Main Menu (using the button on the bottom of the lsit of surveys screen).

List Jobs
Once a particular survey has been selected, you can list those jobs in that survey as permitted by your licence. Click on List Jobs to display the Job List.

The job list give the job identity number and the job title in job number order. Click on ta job number to display the salary data for the job. Once the salary data is displayed it can also be printed out.

Return to the Job List to display the data for another job (if available, as specified by your licence). Return to the list of sureys (via the Job Price Main Menu) to select another survey (if available, as specified by your licence).

Trends
In the special case where you have elected to view all jobs for a particular survey, or you have purchased the data to the maximum amount of $475, then you also have access to the Trends information. The Trends information includes CPI movements and forecasts, and salary movements and forecasts across a wide range of job functions. Average weekly earnings, unemployment, and job vacancy charts and trends are displayed.

User Menu. From the Secure Access Main Menu you can access the User Main Menu. From this menu you can display the licence expiry date, and change the password.

Use the word:    JPDemo     for both User Name and Passsword.

You will be able to select one survey, ie November 2002 Jobmatch Survey (code named JM0211). You will be able to view and print out all results shown.
