Job Brief

Reports to: Senior Financial Accountant
Job Purpose: Responsible for preparation and maintenance of accounting records and reports.
Activities: Typically: #Prepares income and expenditure statements for inclusion in periodic financial statements and reports. #Supports maintenance of the general and other ledgers, and preparation of periodic statistical reports. #Assists in developing and implementing new accounting systems and procedures. #Conducts financial accounting activity up to trial balance.
Qualifications: Progress towards an accounting qualification with 2-3 years experience, or a newly qualified accountant.
Titles: Accounts Officer, Accounts Payable Officer, Accounts Receivable Officer
