Thank you for visiting
the NRC. Information on salaries and benefits paid to a wide range of general and
specialised jobs in Australia is provided through this site to help you make
more informed salary decisions. Look no further.
The NRC is a leading, independent, Australian provider of salary information and job evaluation
services.
Our salary database was established in 1972 and has been continuously maintained.
As well as our all-industries job evaluated and position description matched surveys
we conduct or process some of Australia's largest industry surveys.
Our job evaluation
system JobscoreTM
is widely used to establish pay structures and manage pay policy.
Through our association with
leading HR consultants, services on all aspects of remuneration policy formulation and management are provided.
Salary Surveys describes our
surveys: these include both job evaluated and
position description matched all-industries and industry specific surveys.
The results for these surveys,
including salary movements and forecasts, are provided on-line through password protected access. As well as comprehensive survey results, data contributing participants in
our surveys receive a customised analysis for each individual position for which they provide data. These reports, called
Contributor Reports, together with further details and illustrations about our surveys, are shown in the Salary Survey
section of this website. Altogether we provide salary levels for hundreds of different jobs, and in many cases by industry sector, State, and organisation size. All data collection and delivery of results for all of our surveys are conducted completely on-line.
Job Price describes our system
that provides comprehensive, job-evaluated salary package details for jobs at all levels
across a wide range of job functions: thereby covering positions commonly found across many industries
in Australia.
Job Evaluation details our on-line system
Jobscore.
Secure Access is a password protected area where our
survey participants can review their data, where access to the results
of our surveys are provided, and where job evaluations can be
conducted on-line.
This is an extensive site with many explanations and illustrations
and the Site Map will help you
navigate its wealth of information.
We value your comments, however brief, as
they help us ensure the site continues to meet the changing needs
of those responsible for the
management of salaries and benefits. Contact us, we will reply.
