Job Brief
|
Reports to: Ganger/Leading Hand/Supervisor/Overseer
Job Purpose: Provides truck driving support to work gangs.
Activities: #Operates trucks and other specialised vehicles (eg tip truck, refuse vehicle).
#Maintains truck in clean and serviceable condition. #Works closely with operations and
maintenance staff to ensure that schedules are met. #Carry out routine truck maintenance
and complete service reports. #Complete materials sheets accurately and comprehensively.
#May use hydraulic or compressed air equipment.
Qualifications: Qualifications appropriate to the type of vehicle driven. Fundamental
literacy in receiving and executing instructions.
