Job Brief
|
Reports to: Operations Superintendent/Engineer
Job Purpose: Supervises tradesmen and other operatives in physical production/service operations; may work
on a shift basis.
Activities: #Supervise employees and contractors engaged in production activities within a specified
operational unit. #Coordinates production with maintenance activities to maximise production unit
availability. #Schedules employees, equipment and production activities under the position's control. #May
assist in preparing estimates of production/service delivery, labour equipment, and materials requirements.
Qualifications: Trade certificate may be required. At least 5 years experience in the area
together good people management skills.
Titles: Production Supervisor, Plant Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Foreman, Forewoman.
