Job Brief
|
Reports to: Senior Detail Draftsperson or a senior engineer
Job Purpose: Undertakes drafting assignments and tasks to support engineering design and projects.
Activities: Typically: #Contributes to definition of drafting specifications and tasks. #Produces design layouts.
#Undertakes detailed design work. #Updates designs, drawings, documentation and worksheets as required.
#May facilitate project estimating by producing bills of materials. #May prepare operating and maintenance
instruction manuals. #Documents changes to engineering drawings.
Qualifications: A drafting certificate or equivalent, and 2-3 years experience. May have experience of design
packages such as AUTOCAD or VersaCAD.
