Reports to: Head of Engineering, Chief Operating Officer, site senior engineer or operations manager.
Job Brief
Job Purpose: Provides engineering construction and maintenance and service function operations.
Activities: #Develop schedules for planned and preventative maintenance, and arrangements for breakdown
maintenance servicing. #Ensures major equipment overhauls completed efficiently and with minimum disruption
to operations. #Investigates performance and cost problems in equipment; develops engineering solutions.
#Participates in preparation of equipment replacement proposals. #Oversees construction of major units of
plant and other engineering infrastructure. #Ensures staff trained to company and statutory requirements.
Qualifications: A qualified engineer with sound knowledge of related disciplines and maintenance/construction
engineering principles and practices. Should have significant industry and management experience.
