Job Brief
Job Purpose: Ensures that engineering projects are undertaken and completed to support achievement of
objectives for operational and facilities development.
Activities: Typically: #Assigns engineering projects to project engineers. #Monitors, controls and
reports on project costs, schedules and resources. #Defines project objectives, prepares project plans,
issues project instructions and controls changes to project scope and designs. #Liaises with engineering
design teams, suppliers and clients. #Ensures that project teams work to specification and engineering
standards. #Monitors, reports on and ensures customer satisfaction in relation to engineering projects.
Qualifications: A B.Eng. and an extensive background in management of complex engineering projects.
