Job Brief
|
Reports to: Senior Financial Accountant
Job Purpose: Supervises preparation and maintenance of accounting records and reports.
Activities: Typically: #Supervises and undertakes preparation of income and expenditure
statements for inclusion in periodic financial statements and reports. #Supports maintenance of
the general and other ledgers, and preparation of periodic statistical reports. #Files invoices
and prepares monthly accruals and reports for finance management. #Assists in developing and
implementing new accounting systems and procedures. #Conducts financial accounting activity up
to trial balance. #Provides training and guidance to accounts staff.
Qualifications: Progress towards an accounting qualification with 3-5 years experience.
