Reports to: Senior Financial Accountant, Payroll Manager or Head of Personnel
Job Brief
Job Purpose: Responsible for paying all employees each period, accurately and on time.
Activities: Typically: #Enters data related to hours worked, pay-rates and leave, and any
variations thereto, and ensures that the personnel database is maintained accurately. #Oversees
the running of the payroll. #Ensures that all reports and payslips are printed on time and raises
cheques for banking. #Ensures that payslips are distributed to staff on time. #Carries out
deduction reconciliations.
Qualifications: Secondary schooling, an aptitude for arithmetic and a few years experience in accounts.
