Job Brief
|
Reports to: Head of Finance or Internal Audit Manager
Job Purpose: Responsible for conducting audit activities to protect the company's finances and assets, and
to support improvements in systems and operations.
Activities: Typically: #Contributes to establishment of audit standards and practices. #Determines degree of
compliance with financial and operating policies and procedures and integrity of information. #Undertakes
investigations for improvement in company operations. #May consult with external auditors on external
audit findings. #Prepares periodic reports for senior management and Board on audit findings and activities.
Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in accounting plus around 4-7 years professional audit experience.
Titles: Internal Auditor, Senior Internal Auditor
