Job Brief
Job Purpose: Directs assessment of business opportunities; develops business and investment strategies.
Activities: #Maintains awareness of global, regional and country economic, political, industrial,
commercial, financial and technical trends. #Seeks business opportunities. #Oversees business and financial
analyses of investment opportunities. #Assesses takeover targets; analyses operating capability and finances;
develops strategic recommendations. #Oversees assessment of internal product/process developments to
determine commercial feasibility. #Assesses and determines requirements for setting up joint ventures.
Qualifications: A first degree probably supplemented by a Master's, detailed knowledge of the Company, its
businesses and the broader environment, and 12-15 years business experience.
