Job Brief

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Purpose: Participates in the development of business strategies, and plans, controls and directs their implementation to support achievement of growth and profitability objectives.
Activities: #Develops business plans, objectives and budgets for the industries in which the company operates. #Oversees implementation of plans for the business and directs remedial action where necessary. #Remains alert to opportunities to enhance the organisation through merger or acquisition; may participate in negotiations. #Presents regular financial and operating reports to the CEO and implements strategic and operating directives. #Maintains relationships with relevant stakeholders of the company as appropriate.
Qualifications: A tertiary qualification plus 20-25 years business or industry experience.
Titles: Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, General Manager
