Job Brief
Job Purpose: Co-ordinates and controls scientific department activity to support achievement of company
scientific research and operational objectives.
Activities: #Support development of objectives and programs through input of technical and management
views. #Ensure programs meet specifications, budgets and deadlines. #Ensures knowledge of scientific and
related developments is current. #Define scope of scientific work for complex tasks and projects; applies
advanced scientific principles and novel approaches to provide solutions.
Qualifications: Professional scientist with at least 15 years experience which includes successfully
managing complex scientific tasks or projects.
Titles: Chief Scientist, Mgr Conservation/Environmental Science, Chief Pharmacist, Chief Health Officer
