Job Brief

Reports to: Supply Manager or Logistics Manager
Job Purpose: Directs and controls warehouse and stores activities to minimise inventory costs consistent with operational requirements.
Activities: Typically: #Provides for stock control by directing stocktakes and arranging for physical security. #Ensures that inventory holdings are optimal by directing analyses of requirements, usage patterns, ordering strategies and setting max/min levels. #Periodically reviews warehousing policies, procedures and systems. #Monitors disposals programs to control redundant stock. #May oversee physical distribution of supplies to other centres.
Qualifications: Preferably a tertiary qualification plus 10-12 years experience.
