Job Brief
Job Purpose: Supports planning and co-ordination of marketing and sales activities for a particular range of
products to achieve objectives for market penetration and sales.
Activities: #Helps develop/coordinate implementation of new and current marketing strategies, plans and budgets.
#Evaluates and selects products to meet market demands. #Assesses/recommends on product pricing.
#Determines product sourcing quantities, sets stock levels, and negotiates deals with distributors/major customers.
#Supports assessment of marketing effectiveness by reviewing product performance.
Qualifications: Possibly tertiary qualified but more important 4-7 years in sales or a technical area with some
interaction with the market-place. Understand market needs, formulate plans and budgets, and negotiate deals.
