Job Brief
|
Reports to: Senior Financial or Management Accountant
Job Purpose: Supports professional accounting staff in financial or managerial accounts units.
Activities: Typically: #Undertakes accounting activities to trial balance stage. #Assists in preparing trading
statements and management reports. #Assists in cost analyses and budget controls. #May assist in preparing
statutory returns or audit programs. #May coordinate clerical staff in payroll, accounts receivable or accounts
payable.
Qualifications: Year 12 and partial completion of professional accounting qualifications plus 2-4 years experience.
Titles: Assistant Accountant, Accountant, Accounting Officer, Trainee Accountant
